If I didn't love software so much, I'd cook all the time. It doesn't help that Google provides free lunch and dinner (by "not help" it's only as it pertains to cooking.)
I've been having a hard time getting a simple and healthy burrito recipe together that I really like, and I finally nailed it. I don't think this is the be-all end-all of burrito recipes, and it's definitely not as good as Roni's burrito recipe, the high bar of all burrito recipes, but it's much simpler to make, and relies on all the spices for its flavor (and I'm always happy when there's a good use for white pepper.)
Tonight, I'm going to make a pasta dish that uses the meat and marrow form a veal shank. Whee!
Update: Holy malone, that dish was unbelievable. It was accompanied by a fabulous sautéed broccoli dish with thinly-sliced garlic, a great salad to go with it, a good bottle of wine, and my friend Jerry capped our meal with homemade crème brûlée. Beth got me through some rough spots and that was the one of the best meals We've ever had.
