Then I could say:

class MyException extends SomeException {
protected final Foo foo;

public MyException(_, Foo foo) {
super(_);
this.foo = foo;
}
}

That would allow me to match all super class constructors in one shot and do the thing I'm really interested in (store a ref to foo).Joelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06539394257594035385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8055871.post-43067559086695411892009-09-30T09:08:48.029-04:002009-09-30T09:08:48.029-04:00CoolCoolDavid Plasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13640806294362197379noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8055871.post-26501957561277303632009-09-30T08:02:07.823-04:002009-09-30T08:02:07.823-04:00I did look at Lombok, but it's just not going ...I did look at Lombok, but it's just not going to work for me unfortunately.konberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04616226121996611123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8055871.post-59432193203319812932009-09-30T05:22:53.140-04:002009-09-30T05:22:53.140-04:00Hi i wondered if you have you looked at project lo...Hi i wondered if you have you looked at project lombok ;-) (projectlombok.org). Though it is a hack in some ways it does what you want or could be extended to do what you want... If nothing else it could be quite good for testing the idea in the hope that some other jvm language took up the reins

regards
garyvarioustoxinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11187421093238401671noreply@blogger.com
